Lahore: Lady health workers sit-in protest enters third day

LAHORE (Dunya News) - The sit-in protest by lady health workers (LHWs) near Charing Cross at the Mall Road in Lahore entered third day on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.

Gusty winds in the city on late Tuesday night uprooted the tents of protesting lady health workers who were forces to take shelter in nearby buildings. However, they vowed to continue their sit-in protest until their demands are met.

The LHWs sit-in protest which started on Monday morning near Charing Cross. They are demanding a pay raise, proper service structure and scale up-gradation. They claimed that they will continue their sit-in protest until their demands are met.
