Riyadh played crucial role in normalising Pak-India tensions: Saudi Embassy

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Saudi Arabia’s embassy has asserted that Riyadh had played a crucial role in ‘normalizing’ the simmering tensions between Pakistan and India.
According to a statement released on Tuesday, the Saudi Council of Ministers have been quoted as saying that the twin visits of al-Jubeir to Pakistan and India were meant to “preempt anything that might affect the region’s security and stability”.
Furthermore, Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz was thoroughly briefed on the outcome of al-Jubeir’s trips to the subcontinent.
