Pak-India friendship bus leaves for New Delhi with 16 Indian passengers
The bus operates on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Pak-India friendship bus on Friday morning has been departed for New Delhi with 16 Indian passengers to de-escalate the ongoing tensions between both the countries.
The bus operates on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Earlier, Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed had announced to resume Samjhauta Express train service from March 3.
The train service was suspended in the wake of soaring hostile relations between arch-rivals. This decision had created problems for passengers who came from India.
Tensions between Pakistan and India have been escalated since a suicide attack in occupied Kashmir killed 44 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldiers.
The attack saw explosives packed inside a van rip through buses in a convoy of 78 vehicles carrying some 2,500 members of the paramilitary CRPF.
