Fire engulfs commercial plaza in Lahore

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Fire erupted in a plaza located near Gulberg was doused on Saturday after an hour.
Details suggest that the incident occurred in an under construction plaza.
Rescue authorities say that the blaze broke out in a store room located in the basement of an under construction plaza near Kalma Chowk.
Clouds of dense smoke billowed from the building and flames engulfed it. Rescue teams arrived at the scene and curtailed the fire after hectic efforts of an hour.
They told that polythene sheets placed in the store caught fire which intensified the smoke. However; no life loss occurred as a result of the incident.
