ECC approves to launch Islamic Sukuk bonds of Rs200 billion
The bond will be issued through the consortium of Islamic banks.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Finance Minister Asad Umar on Tuesday presided over a meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) in Islamabad, and approved to launch Islamic Sukuk bond amounting to Rs200 billion for the payment of circular debt.
The bond will be issued through the consortium of Islamic banks.
The committee also approved to export additional 500,000 tonnes of wheat.
