NA speaker has privilege to issue production orders: Shafqat Mahmood
Shafqar Mahmood said that if NA Speaker wants, he can issue production orders.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood on Monday said that the production orders of Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif were issued in the past but it were of no use.
The minister while putting the ball in Asad Qaiser’s court, said that only National Assembly Speaker has the prerogative to issue production orders.
Shafqar Mahmood said that if he wants, he can issue production orders.
The minister went on to say that production orders were issued in the past but they only come to the assembly to create ruckus.
“Opposition has nothing to talk about,” he added.
