Pakistan to keep playing role for regional peace: COAS
COAS reiterated that peace in Afghanistan is vital for regional peace.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – US delegation led by Commander US CENTCOM General Joseph L Votel called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ on Sunday.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to geo-strategic environment, regional security and Afghanistan peace & reconciliation process came under discussion.
The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan Army’s efforts for regional peace and stability.
The COAS reiterated that peace in Afghanistan is vital for regional peace.
Gen Bajwa said that Pakistan despite constraints has contributed to all efforts for regional peace and would continue to do so.
