Court sentences PTI MPA Sachanand to 3-year jail in bogus cheque case
MPA was arrested from the court premises after the court announced the verdict of the case.
Tando Adam (Dunya News) – A Civil Court in Tando Adam on Thursday has handed down 3-year in jail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Diwan Suchanand in bogus cheque case.
The civil judge heard the case and sentenced the MPA to three years jail after finding him guilty in the case.
Suchanand was arrested from the court premises after the court announced the verdict in the case.
According to details, five years ago Suchanand had issued a cheque for Rs10 million to the complainant for land the purchased, which was bounced due to insufficient funds in his bank account.
