Dense fog continues to envelop parts of Punjab, KP
The visibility has dropped to zero in parts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to thick fog.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Dense fog has continued to envelop different areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday night, badly disrupting the road traffic, Dunya News reported.
The Motorway (M2) section from Lahore to Pindi Bhattian, Pindi Bhattian to Faisalabad, Faisalabad to Gojra were shut down due thick fog as visibility was down to zero.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar-Rashakai Motorway section (M1) has been closed for all kind of traffic morning due to dense fog.
The thick fog has also badly affected the flow of road traffic at the National Highway in Pattoki, Habibabad, Renala Khurd, Okara and Sahiwal.
The Motorway police have appealed the drivers to use GT Road for travelling. They have also urged the drivers to drive slowly and switch on fog lights. The people have been requested to stay home and avoid unnecessary travelling.
