ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Zubair Mahmood Hayat called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at Prime Minister Office on Thursday.
General Zubair Mahmood Hayat discussed professional matters relating to Pakistan Army with the Prime Minister during the meeting.
General Zubair Mahmood informed the Prime Minister about operational preparations of Pakistan Army. He also briefed the Prime Minister on ongoing operations against terrorism in the country.
The Prime Minister and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee also discussed the country s internal and external security situation. The Prime Minister expressed the determination that Pakistan will continue to play a role for peace in the region.
