CPEC agreements are not being reviewed, says Asad Umer

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Finance Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umer on Friday said in an interview with Khaleej Times that Pakistan has come out of economic pressure with the help of PTI led government s new economic policies and friendly countries.
Finance minister added while talking about International Monetary Fund (IMF) that Pakistan is not in haste to sign a deal with IMF.
When we feel that the IMF is in Pakistan s interest it will be signed only then, he added.
"If we compare our current account deficit with previous year it will decrease from $ 6billion to $7 billion," Asad Umer asserted.
However; finance minister has made clear USA and IMF s all concerns regarding China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) saying that Pakistan has no intension to renegotiate CPEC while Saudi Package is not aid, but the investment from which the Saudi Arabia will make a fair profit.
