The PTI government wont waste money like its predecessors on advertisements
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Finance Minister Asad Umer on Wednesday said that the wrong decision taken by the previous governments are inflicting loss.
Speaking exclusively at the Dunya News program “On the Front”, he said that the country’s economy was in worse condition when Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government came into power.
Responding to a question, the minister said that the government imposed tax on people having income above Rs200,000, adding that the poor people were not burdened.
Asad Umer said that the power tariff for over 70 percent poor consumers had not been increased.
He went on to say that difficult decision will be taken in first six months of the government, adding that several difficult decisions have already been taken.
The minister said that economy would be revived in two years and the government won’t hide behind the IMF.
