PM Imran decides to approve interim province status for Gilgit-Baltistan
Gilgit Baltistan will get additional authorities after the approval of interim province status.
SKARDU (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday while accepting the recommendations of reforms committee, decided to approve interim province status for Gilgit-Baltistan.
The recommendations were presented in a meeting chaired by the prime minister. The committee suggested that the region should be given its due rights.
Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Ali Ameen Gandapur will present a summary at the federal cabinet meeting to be held on Thursday, to approve interim province status for Gilgit-Baltistan.
The committee formed by PM Imran for reforms in Gilgit Baltistan has prepared its recommendations.
