NAB allows Nawaz to meet Shahbaz

Former PM Nawaz had requested to meet his brother and opposition leader in the National Assembly.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Sunday has allowed former prime minister Nawaz Sharif to meet his brother and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shahbaz Sharif.

The PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif is under NAB custody in relation to corruption charges in Ashiana Housing Scandal.

Former PM Nawaz Sharif had requested to meet his brother and opposition leader in the National Assembly. After the approval of the request, Nawaz Sharif will meet the PML-N president today (Monday).

Earlier, Shahbaz Sharif underwent a complete medical checkup at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad. The medical board carried out all necessary tests including CT scan of opposition leader and advised Sharif to continue his medicine.

It is pertinent here to mention that the opposition leader was shifted to PIMS hospital Islamabad for regular check up. He was shifted to Ministers Enclave after the medical checkup.

The medical reports of Sharif have shown resurrection of cancer. According to the report, Shahbaz’s report indicates signs of Chromogranin A (CgA) and his adenoid cystic carcinoma node level was found to be at 688 — the normal level of which is considered to be at 100.
