ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Afghanistan’s notorious spy agency National Directorate of Security (NDS) had ordered assassination of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Superintendent Police (SP) Tahir Khan Dawar, well-informed sources privy to security agencies told our correspondent.

As soon as news of Dawar’s martyrdom surfaced, the controversial MNA Mohsin Dawar attempted to put the blame of hapless incident on Pakistan and pointed fingers at country’s security apparatus.

Sources further added that Mohsin Dawar held direct talks with hostile Afghan officials and remained in contact with them.

On October 26, the ill-fated police official had gone missing from Ramna neighborhood of the federal capital, Islamabad. A high-level committee was constituted that conducted raids at scattered places in the country. The committee also held talks with members of Jirga (traditional assembly of tribal leaders).
