PPP standing alongside govt for resolution of issues: Khursheed Shah
He praised Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto for his struggle for democracy in 1970
SUKKUR (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) leader Syed Khursheed Shah on Friday said that his party do not do politics of locking down cities and civil disobedience.
Addressing a ceremony in Sukkur on Friday, he said that the PPP was standing alongside the government for the resolution of issues, adding that they do not want fights but wanted to strengthen the country.
“We will do politics of Benazir Bhutto under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari,” he added.
The PPP leader went on to say that we are not ready to become puppet of any super power and will not follow the agenda of foreign powers. “To work for the development and prosperity of the common man across the country is among the top priority of the PPP.”
He praised Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto for his struggle for democracy in 1970, adding that all citizens have equal rights and same power.
Congratulating Hindu community on occasion of Diwali, Shah said that the meaning of Dilwali is festival of lights and end of darkness. I pray for the better future of man, end of gloom.
Shah further added that we are celebrating Diwali together and Muslim community is with Hindus to participate in their happiness.
