PM Imran orders to conduct forensic audit of ETPB
He directs to present all ETPB matters before the next meeting of the Cabinet
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday while presiding over a meeting of the Evacuee Trust Property Board (EPTB), ordered to conduct a forensic audit of the board.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Dr Noorul Haq Qadri briefed the meeting on the working of the Board.
On the occasion, the prime minister expressed concern over the reports of wide scale administrative and financial irregularities in the board.
He directed that all the matters relating to the Evacuee Trust Board will be presented before the next meeting of the Cabinet.
It was decided in principle that a special task force will be constituted to check all the irregularities in the board and to revamp it to ensure best use of its properties.
