Newborn dies in blaze at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital
According to rescue sources, the fire broke out due to short circuit.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A newborn baby girl was killed when fire broke out at the Children Emergency Ward of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Lahore on Wednesday.
According to details, two-day-old baby girl named Aisha received burn injuries when the fire erupted at the Children Emergency Ward. She died later during treatment.
At least 25 newborn babies were in the Children Emergency Ward when the fire broke out. Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the babies to other wards of the hospital and brought the fire under controls after an hour.
According to rescue sources, the fire broke out due to short circuit.
