SC summons 20 Pakistanis owning properties abroad
The agency said that foreign bank accounts and assets worth Rs100 billion have been traced.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday has summoned 20 Pakistanis for having illegal properties abroad without declaring it as per law.
During the proceedings headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) submitted report revealing that 894 Pakistanis possess assets abroad.
The agency told that foreign bank accounts and assets worth Rs100 billion have also been traced.
Earlier, FIA representative had exposed 25 politicians own assets in Dubai and claimed that 895 Pakistanis were served notices.

The agency had also traced assets of two absconders in Dubai.
SC was also informed that Pakistani nationals own up to $150 billion worth of assets and money in bank accounts in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Attorney General told that 11 agents, involved in illegal transfer of money, were taken into the custody during raids in parts of country.
