Sindh has always complained about being neglected by the federal government

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday while denying reports of not cooperating with the joint investigation team formed by the Supreme Court to probe into money laundering, said that they were cooperating with the team.

Talking to media in Karachi on Wednesday, he said that the task force constituted by the federal government has no value, adding that they would welcome the central government if it wants to work in Sindh.

Sindh has always complained about being neglected by the federal government, he added.

Taking a jibe at Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawada, Shah said that if anyone knows how to open valves, he can ask the water board to hire the one on merit.

Earlier, the JIT had complained to the apex court that the provincial government was not cooperating with the investigation.

Regarding Pakistan Quarters eviction issue, the Sindh CM said: “The land of the Pakistan Quarters belongs to the federal government and not the Sindh government. We have asked the authorities to take a step back to maintain peace in the area.”
