PML-N secures Azad Kashmir seat in second round of by-polls
PML-N candidate Amir Altaf bagged 20,874 votes.
MUZAFFARABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Amir Altaf on Sunday won the by-election from Azad Kashmir LA 18 Poonch 2 constituency.
According to unofficial results, Altaf bagged 20,874 votes against his People’s Party (PPP) candidate Ghulam Sadiq, who secured 14,376 votes in the by-election.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Sardar Sawar Khan got 3,180 votes, whereas Muslim Conference’s Sardar Kashan Masood and JKPP candidate Sardar Nizam Khan managed to get 3,178 and 1,339 votes respectively.
