Earthquake rattles Islamabad, Peshawar, and adjoining areas

No loss of life or damage to property has been reported

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A moderate earthquake measuring 5.2 on the richter scale struck Rawalpindi, Islamabad and surrounding cities on Friday.

As per the details garnered, the earthquake also shook Peshawar, Swat, Buner, Shangla, Malakand Division and adjoining areas.

Following the earthquake, panic spread in the areas, while people came out of their houses reciting Quranic verses.

No loss of life or damage to property has been reported.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, the epicenter of the earthquake was Tajikistan with a focal depth of 120 kilometers.
