Do not rehash mistakes committed by PML-N, PPP: Kh Asif

Owners of offshore companies are being made ministers, claimed Kh Asif.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Asif on Wednesday wisely counseled Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led federal govt to not rehash the blunders committed by PML-N and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in 1980s and 90s.

He made these remarks during huddle of National Assembly (NA) convened on opposition’s demand.

Keeping verbal onslaught up, Asif claimed that PTI’s model of governance tantamount to despotism whereas he also warned at the same time that it does not take long to level the score.

“Government shouldn’t shift the blame on us if it wants to hike tariffs [of gas and electricity] as masses can’t be ridiculed anymore. If you [federal govt] wants to constitute committee on all the agreements inked by PML-N, then go ahead with it.”, Asif was quoted as saying.

“Owners of offshore companies are being made ministers and advisors [by Imran Khan]. Zealots like Pervez Khattak cannot defend such people”, stated Asif.

He regretted that govt had set a bad precedent by arresting leader of the opposition.
