By-election results: PMLN gains six, PTI five seats in Punjab Assembly

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Sunday has managed to lead in the Punjab Assembly with six seats out of 13 in by-election
According to details, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has gained five seats while independent candidates won two Punjab Assembly seats.
By-polls on 13 Punjab Assembly seats were held on October 14. PML-N’s Iftikhar Ahmed Khan won with 43,259 votes against PTI’s Muhammad Akbar Khan who grabbed 43032 votes in PP-3.
In PP-27 Jehlum, PMLN’s Nasir Mehmood gained 61542 votes against PTI’s Shahnawaz Raja who grabbed 60886 and Tehreek Labaik Pakistan’s Muhammad Naveed Shahzad who received only 2963 votes.
