Railways to fill up more than 2,000 vacancies

Appointments will be made on vacant positions ranging from grade-1 to grade-11.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Ministry of Railways has announced to appoint permanent employees on 2,000 vacant positions in the next six months.

According to the ministry, at least 2,031 persons will be appointed to fill the vacant positions in the Railways department.

The posts include civil engineer, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, signal engineer, and communcations engineer.

The appointments will be made on vacant positions ranging from grade-1 to grade-11, whereas the application and interview process would take up at least 90 days to complete.
