OLMT project management unit closed, employees terminated
LDA spokesperson says the PMU was abolished as contract ended
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Project Management Unit (PMU) of Orange Line Metro Train Project (OLMT) has been closed on Monday.
According to Dunya news sources, more than 45 million had been spent on the management unit of project during a time lapse of two years but the result remained zero.
Sources said that, the head of PMU constituted to oversee the OLMT project Saeed Akhtar along with 20 other employees have also been terminated.
Lahore Development authority (LDA) Spokesperson said that PMU was abolished as contract ended.
