Summary ANP leader Haji Adeel warned that the increase in oil prices could trigger a violent public reaction
Awami National Party (ANP) Senior Vice President Haji Muhammad Adeel said that the government did not consult with the parliamentary committee of the National Assembly before increasing the oil prices. He said that the government had formed a committee but increased the prices on its own will, which could have serious repercussions.On the other hand, from Peshawar, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam candidate Khalid Waqar Chamkani said that the government had dropped another bomb on the people by increasing the petrol prices. He said that the government was adding to people’s miseries rather than removing them.
