Summary LHC on Friday directed the federal and Punjab governments to recover two victim families in 10 days.
In a petition filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC), advocate Munsif Awan stated that the families of Faizan and Faheem, who were murdered by Raymond Davis on Januray 27, were forced to accept the blood money. He also stated that the two families have been missing since Davis’ release and he requested the court to summon the officials concerned and direct them to recover the two families. The court remarked that the government had been continuously asking for a deferment without a valid reason. Rejecting a three-week deferment plea, the court ordered the government to recover the families within 10 days.
