Summary The SC on Friday stopped implementation on its verdict in judges extension case till April 11.

A four-member SC bench, led by Justice Shahid Siddiqui heard the case. Other judges in the bench were Justice Jawwad S Khawaja, Justice Khilji Arif Hussain and Justice Tariq Pervaiz.The federal government has filed a review petition in the Supreme Court against its verdict of declaring the decision of the parliamentary committee about the appointment of judges as null and void on March 4 and had ordered the government to issue a notice of one-year extension within 14 days.Additional Advocate General KK Agha has filed the petition in the Supreme Court on behalf of the federal government.The petition requested the court to grant permission to change the advocate, but the court rejected the request. The hearing of the case was adjourned till April 11.
