Defence Day - Nation salutes the martyrs of armed forces
Pak armed forces martyrs are the emblem of valor, gallantry and patriotism.
(WebDesk/DunyaNews) - Defense Day is observed to honor the martyrs of Pakistan armed forces who have laid their life in the guard of their homeland and become an emblem of gallantry, valor and heroism for the next generations of the nation.
Hundreds of unsung heroes of Pakistan armed forces on borders, day and night in the crucial and severe conditions serve their country and countrymen so a common man of Pakistan can live a peaceful and contented life within the border.
While serving their motherland, hundreds of young, brilliant and courageous brave men of Pak armed forces have lost their lives in tens of operations and warfare conflicts ignited the threats to the peace of the people of Pakistan.
Nation salutes the services of Pak armed forces and their ghazis and martyrs:
Captain Safar Khan (Shaheed)
Captain Safer Khan Shaheed laid his life during the operation against militants in Orakzai Agency on 8th June, 2010. Captian Sfer Khan’s younger brother is also serving in the armed forces as major.
Lt. Masood-ur-Rehman Shaheed
Defeating the terrorists in their dens, the brave warrior of the Pak Army Lt. Masood r Rehman lost his life in South Waziristan Operation in 2004. Reminding his son, Masood’s old mother told that he had a desire of martyrdom in the line of duty to serve his country.
Captain Qazi Jawwad Ikram (Shaheed)
Captain Qazi Jawwad shoed a great gallantry and bravery in the war of Kargil and staggering the warriors of the opposite forces with his valor and spirit, martyr laid his life in the service of his country .
Qazi Jawwad Ikram promoted and became the Captain before embracing the martyrdom in the Kargil war.
Hawaldar Muhammad Hayat Baloch (Shaheed)
Hawalda Hayat Ali Baloch was an impressive, gracious and devoted being who has embraced the martyrdom on 2nd August 2011 while combating with the foes of peace and prosperity of Pakistan.
Lance Naik Muhammad Rafique (Shaheed)
Shaheed Muhammad Rafique lost his life during the Operation Zarb-e-Azab in Waziristan. Rafique was the father of two twin girls who were only a year old when their father left them. Martyr’s widow is proud of the valor, courage and patriotism of her deceased husband.
Captain Abdul Malik (Shaheed)
Captian Abdul Malik was honored with the Tamgha-e-Basalat on his splendid performance in the battle of Kargil. He embraced Shahdat in Kargil war. His friends and family are overwhelmed with the audacity and spirit shown in the nerve-racking battle of Kargil.
Major Jahanzaib (Shaheed)
Major Jahanzaib of frontier force regiment played a decisive role in the success of Operation Zarb-e-Mezan in Peshawar who had fought against the enemies till the last breath he had taken to save the land of pure. He had embraced the martyrdom in Feburary 2014 and is bestowed with the gallantry award Sitara-e-Basalat by the armed forces.
