Summary Punjab transporters have increased bus fares by 15 percent following the increase in petrol prices.
Punjab Secretary General of the All Pakistan Transport Owners Federation and Urban Transport Owners Association, Arshad Khan announced that the inter-city buses and wagon fares have been increased due to the increase in petrol prices and the new fares will take effect at 12pm on Friday.He said that the operation of buses at old rates was not feasible after the government had increased diesel prices by Rs 10.36.
