Electricity shortfall mounts to 5560MW as mercury rises
Feeders with losses over 10pc were being subjected to load shedding.
(Dunya News) – Amid scorching heat, the shortfall of electricity has mounted to 5560MW as power cuts have crippled routine life activities across country.
Sources privy to power division told Dunya News, the demand of electricity at present stands at 23670MW whereas its production is just 18110MW.
Sources further added feeders with losses over 10pc were being subjected to load shedding.
