(Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Faisal Vawda on Wednesday stated that Punjab’s next chief minister has graduated from US.

If Wawda claims are to be believed, then Humayun Sarfraz and Murad Raas are strong candidates for the aforementioned post.

Humayun Sarfraz hails from Chakwal. He founded Myer s College Chakwal and various other institutions before joining politics in 2013. He got his early education from Aitchison College Lahore and graduated as a Computer Engineer from University of Florida, Gainesville(USA). Currently, he is National Membership Coordinator(Central) and Senior Vice President of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf(North Punjab) and is a prospective candidate for National Assembly constituency N.A 60.

Sarfraz contested elections on PTI’s ticket from PP-21 Chakwal-I.

Earlier today, Imran Khan addressed party’s parliamentary committee and stated that he would nominate a ‘corruption-free’ candidate for Punjab CM’s slot.

Khan—who is expected to take oath as Pakistan’s next premier on August 14—further added that the nominee would have a clean image while calling on all members to support the nominee. Khan vowed to depoliticize Punjab police and making it autonomous.
