Recently, a courageous Pakistani despite running short of resources, once again proved if there is a will, there is a way and other Pakistanis help him to achieve his objective of helping a poor child to gather the financial resources for his medical treatment. he took to the social media site and share the story of a young but aggrieved Afghan child, suffering from pain of tumor in knee.

Last week, a social media user Noman Ali Khan posted a story about a child suffering from primary bone cancer or bone sarcoma, usually starts in the bone. The cancer has affected the knee joint of an Afghan poor child, Izzat ullah. The tumor inflicts him an immense pain and hurt, unbearable for a child as young as Izzatullah.

Pakistanis in general do charity with an aggrandized heart and open arms but the residents of Karachi still has an edge of donating generously over their fellow brothers residing in rest of the country. Karachittes contacted Izzatullah’s neighbor to contribute in the donation for the money required to treat the needy child, tormented by the ache of the tumor-affected knee.

People in large numbers have contacted me, many of them were literally crying. They wanted to speak and meet to the poor child and help him. So far, two hundred to two hundred and fifty thousand rupees were collected to help the child for medical treatment, Noman Ali Khan told Dunya News.

Within a span of 6 days, a basic amount was collected which is enough to help his poor father, Fazal Muhammad who is an Afghan laborer to initiate his son’s cancer treatment.

Fazal Muhammad who had lent money from his friends and family to bring his child for medical treament to Karachi. Upon arrival, he had started working in a garbage go down. He roamed in different hospitals but was not given attention by the authorities.

Fazal Muhammad shows gratitude for the generous Pakistanis who have shared the burden of the expense of his son’s treatment. His treatment has been started. Initially, he is being given the injections to reduce his pain.

Izzatullah begins to grin again. Doctors have decided to initially keep him on medications otherwise he will be considered for knee operation. Nevertheless, more money will be required in the cure of a dreadful disease like bone cancer.
