Summary Malik says match fixing between Pakistan and India semi-final will not be tolerated.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Monday indicated a targeted action against militants in Karachi. The minister said that no criminal would be spared for his political affiliation as an indiscriminate operation would be conducted across the board in Karachi.Talking to the media in the National Crisis Management Cell in Karachi, Malik said that crucial talks would be held with Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah to maintain peace in the city. The minister said that the US pastor, who desecrated the holy, Quran, was an eccentric and the Interior Ministry had written a letter to the Interpol, stating that desecration of the holy Quran was also a form of terrorism. To a question, Malik said that no match fixing would be tolerated in Pakistan-India match and the authorities concerned were keeping a close eye on players. He suggested that the players should go on with their routine practice and have timely diet and sleep.
