Timeline of Talal Chaudhry's contempt case
The former State Minister was declared guilty and was disqualified for 5 years in the contempt case.
(WebDesk) – A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Gulzar Ahmed disqualified former State Minister and member Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML N) leader, Talal Chaudhry for a period of five years in the contempt of court case. Along with the disqualification, Talal Chaudhry was also asked to pay a fine of Rs.100,000.
The panel ruled that Talal Chaudhry was found guilty of contempt of court, during speeches at public gatherings and failed to provide evidence against the accusations leveled against him.
