PK-70: PTI's Shah Farman loses seat in vote recount
Awami National Party's (ANP) Khush Dil Khan has been declared winner after recount.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Shah Farman has lost his seat in PK-70 after vote recount was held in the constituency.
According to details, Awami National Party’s (ANP) Khush Dil Khan has been declared winner after recount.
Earlier, Shah Farman was announced victorious with 15404 votes while Khush Dil Khan stood second with 15357 votes.
Other candidates, contested in the same constituency, were Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal’s Jan Afzal who took 6452 votes, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians’ (PPPP) Ghazanfar Ali 6443 votes and Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan’s Muhammad Shafiq Amini gained 2618 votes.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Shahid Khan bagged 1723 votes, Qaumi Watan Party’s Niaz Ur Rehman Khan Momand 314 votes, All Pakistan Muslim League’s Rajmail Khan 260 votes whereas independent candidate Muhammad Daud Khan Barki received 51 votes.
