PPP to sit on opposition benches in Punjab Assembly

Bhutto stated that they would play an active role play as opposition in Punjab Assembly.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has on Tuesday decided not to be part Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led (PTI) government in Punjab and sit on opposition benches in Punjab Assembly.

As per details garnered, Bilawal Bhutto stated that they would play an active role play as opposition in Punjab Assembly.

PPP’s MPAs-elect called on party’s chairman at Bilawal House in Karachi and exchanged views on latest political developments.

Bilawal told MPAs-elect that only PPP has courage to make new province in southern area of Punjab. He termed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) a puppet party.

Bilawal made it overtly clear that they would not lend ‘unconditional support’ to any political party. “We will support or oppose any party on parameters of public issues”, stated Bhutto junior.
