(Web Desk) - Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah is also known as Mother of Nation or Madr-e-Millat. She rendered countless sacrifices for the creation of Pakistan, standing side by side with her brother. She was born on July 31, 1893 in Karachi. Today marks her 126th birth anniversary. She had graceful personality just like Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Her political struggle started mainly in1940s when she joined hands with his brother and initiated working for All India Muslim League (AIML). She worked for Muslims’ cause dauntlessly not only before the creation of Pakistan but after it too. She wanted to have strong democracy in the newly-established land. In this regard, he faced numerous hurdles.
Unfortunately, just like other leaders we could not give her the status she deserved. She was also termed as "Indian and American agent". Ayub Khan along with other opponents worked hard to make her political career terminate. They may be successful but nation remembers her for her bravery and determination.
Keeping in view her struggle for Pakistan and female rights, Twitterati paid her rich tribute in the following way.
