Summary Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association in Karachi staged a sit-in in favour of their demands.
Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association (SPLA) tried to take the rally towards the chief minister’s house to demand imposition of time scale and issuance of promotion orders for the teachers. However, police stopped them at SM Law College and arrested a dozen teachers.On this occasion, the association announced that a black day would be observed tomorrow in all the Sindh colleges. SPLA president professor Athar said that the Sindh education secretary should personally come for talks; otherwise, the protest would be continued.
