Imran announces to bring back Aafia, others languishing in foreign jails

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has announced to bring back Aafia Siddiqui, a Pakistani neuroscientist languishing in US jail, and other prisoners.
Imran Khan said if elected he would make efforts to repatriate Aafia Siddiqui and other Pakistani prisoners serving jail term in foreign countries.
“We will provide consular and legal services to all Pakistanis jailed abroad,” the party said in its election manifesto announced on Monday.
“We make best efforts to bring prisoners like Dr Aafia Siddiqui and others back to Pakistan.”
