COAS leaves for Kabul to meet Afghan president

ISLAMABAD (APP): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday left for Kabul to meet President Afghanistan, Ashraf Ghanni on his invitation, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.

Director General of ISPR, Maj. Gen. Asif Ghafoor tweeted, “Army chief left for Kabul to meet President Ashraf Ghani on his invitation.”

“Pakistan wishes to see national unity government and US/NATO succeeding to bring peace in Afghanistan,” he added.
According to DG ISPR COAS, Gen. Bajwa will hold talks with Afghan president Ashraf Ghani.

Secretary of State, Taimina Jujja, DG ISI are also with COAS.
