Controversial Book: Zulfi Bukhari, Wasim, others send legal notice to Reham Khan
The notice demands detailed answer from her till June 14
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Reham Khan’s former husband Ijaz Rehman, former cricketer Wasim Akram, British Pakistani businessman Zulfi Bukhari and Anila Khawaja, female activist linked with PTI on Monday sent legal notice to PTI chairman Imran Khan’s ex-wife over her controversial book.
The pandora box opened when actor Hamza Ali Abbasi took to social media and claimed that he had somehow read the manuscript of book written by Reham Khan.
The notice demands detailed answer from her till June 14.
According to the notice, the script of the book was obtained through sources.
The notice claimed that on page 402 and 572 of the book, malicious allegations were leveled against former cricketer Wasim Akram’s late wife.
The notice would be dismissed if Reham removes the “malicious content” besides stating her sources.
The PTI chairman’s ex-wife in her book also leveled allegations on Imran Khan’s close aide Zulfi Bukhari of aborting a woman’s child in London.
On page 243, 417 and 458 of the book, Reham Khan accused that the female activist linked with PTI Anila Khawaja has relations with Imran Khan and mentioned her as “Chief of Harram”.
According to notice, Reham Khan accused her first husband Ijaz Rehman of beating her and declared him responsible for separation.
The copy of legal notice to former BBC weather girl was sent to her London residence.
Earlier, Reham Khan had denied meeting Maryam Nawaz and receiving money from Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif.
Talking to Dunya News bureau chief for Europe Azhar Javed in London, Reham Khan said that her book revolves around the character related to her life.
Reham Khan also alleged that he email was hacked and added that Hamza Ali Abbasi would go to jail for his childish escapade. She also urged Chief Justice to take notice of the situation.
On the other hand, according to actor and PTI activist Hamza Ali Abbasi, the former BBC presenter in her book has declared Imran Khan as the most evil man to walk on the face of the earth while Reham herself is the most pious, righteous (Tahajjud guzaar) woman ever and Shehbaz Sharif is an amazing guy.
Hamza Ali Abbasi further said that there is a big agenda behind the book and added that the timing of the publication of the book is also very important and significant.
The book will be published just before the general elections in Pakistan.
