Punjab companies scam: Court seeks reply from Punjab govt over hike in salaries
The court declared petition admissible for hearing and issued notices to officials.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday summoned reply from Punjab government, chief secretary and secretary finance over hike in remuneration of heads and staffers of 56 companies, reported Dunya News.
A petition filed by Advocate Azhar Siddique in LHC states that matter of alleged irregularities in Punjab’s 56 companies is already under hearing, thus any hike in salaries is an attempt to assert pressure on the ongoing case.
The court declared petition admissible for hearing and issued notices to aforementioned officials.
