(Web Desk) – With Ramazan drawing to a close, people across the country have started thronging to bazars to gear up for Eid that will mark the end of the holy month.
As the last ashra (ten days) of Ramazan begins later this week, preparations for Eid have started in full swing with markets witnessing a heavy influx after sunset, when Muslims break their fasts, and when temperatures become bearable in a country which is going through one of the hottest summers this year.
Local markets in various cities have also extended their business hours to cater to customers. From glitzy bling to colourful bangles and embroidered clothes, shops are flaunting their Eid stocks while tailors are busy meeting deadlines amid the load-shedding.
