Fake degrees of pilots: SC summons PM Abbasi as CEO of Air Blue on May 12

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday has summoned Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Air Blue in a case pertaining to alleged fake degree of pilots on May 12.

During the hearing, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar has said that clashes in interests are apart but the premier has been called as a CEO of the airlines to explain his stance.

He further asked why no relevant data has been submitted in the court and that how many airlines are functional in Pakistan over which Deputy Attorney General responded that Shaheen, Air Blue and SereneAir are being working in Pakistan.

However, data of 108 employees of PIA has been verified so far, he added.

Responding to a question of CJP, the deputy attorney general said that degrees of 1979 people are yet to be verified.
