Turkish military chief lauds PAF's role in war against terrorism
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan on Saturday offered help and cooperation to Turkish Air Force in the field of aviation and military training.
In a statement issued by Pakistan Air Force (PAF) spokesman, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan met Turkish Chief of General Staff General Hulusi Akar who called on him at PAF headquarters in Islamabad.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to professional affairs came under discussion.
Speaking on the occasion, General Hulusi Akar appreciated sound professionalism of PAF personnel.
He also lauded PAF’s role in fighting the war against terrorism and expressed his desire to learn from its experiences.
On the other hand, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan highlighted that both the countries enjoy cordial and brotherly relations and reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing cooperation between the two countries.
He also assured continued support in the field of aviation and military training to Turkish Air Force.
Earlier on his arrival, a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Air Force presented the Guard of Honour.
