PTI has warned against filing defamation suit.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday served a legal notice to Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah over his misogynistic remarks against party’s women.

PTI—in its plea—demanded a formal apology from Rana Sanaullah within seven days and if latter failed in doing so, a defamation suit worth Rs50 mln would be filed against him.

It is pertinent here to mention that Rana Sanaullah’s remarks against PTI women drew ire from all segments of society after former used abusive language to demean PTI’s successful rally at Lahore’s Minar-e-Pakistan in which women participants also turned out in huge numbers.
