ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Hearing case against fake drugs, Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saqib Nisar said that the court cannot let anyone influence the case.
Heading 3-member bench, CJP had summoned IG Punjab and RPO Bahawalpur after allegations that the latter may be protecting people involved in the crime. IG Punjab told the court that the allegation was baseless.
“On our orders, an officer raided a factory; the next day, NAB issued him a notice”, said CJP, “It seems that these people are influential.”
CJP asked DG FIA to complete investigation and submit report in the court.
