Cylinder explosion injures three in Lahore

Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least three people were wounded when a cylinder exploded during refilling in Wahday Colony area of Lahore on Tuesday.

Panic spread in the area after the explosion. A large contingent of police reached the spot and cordoned off the area. The injured were identified as Umair, Khalid and Gulzar.

Rescue teams shifted the injured to a nearby hospital from where they were sent home after treatment.

SP Iqbal Town Umar Farooq and Jamaat-e-Islami leader Liaquat Baloch also reached to spot. Speaking on the occasion, Umar Farooq informed media that action would be taken against owner of the shop. Also speaking on the occasion, JI leader Liaquat Baloch said that action should be taken against those LPG traders who open shops in the residential areas.
